Our Story

Since the 1950’s, and spanning 5 generations, our family has been involved in the safety industry, particularly in the child safety product space. Safety has always been important to us, and we've always believed in and cared about safety related products that can make a real difference to peoples lives and wellbeing.

In 2005, while traveling in the United Kingdom, I noticed that their workplace first aid system was much simpler and more efficient than in Australia. This inspired me to bring that same simplicity and efficiency back home.

When I returned to Australia, I found that each state or territory had different first aid rules. This meant that a national workplace had to deal with the headache of up to 48 different first aid kits just to comply, which was very confusing and often led to non-compliance, simply because it was all too hard. First aid kit auditing and replenishment was the same nightmare, which often led to expired and depleted supplies, and ultimately had negative safety impacts.

I sensed a fantastic opportunity to change the first aid industry. I wanted to simply make first aid fast and easy. I believed that simplifying first aid would greatly improve workplace safety and make a real difference. So FastAid was established in 2006.

Our family came up with the name "FastAid" to reflect our goals of speed and ease of use, as well as the caring nature of our products.

We focused on creating simple, innovative, and great looking products, with a simple 3-step method to help
people choose the right first aid kit. Along with that we had a passion for providing an excellent customer experience.

Today, our Purpose is a great reflection of what we strive to do every day; Empowering people to care when it matters most.
